| Commissioned by the United States Army in 1940, (Military Evidencebot, Girl) MEG was built with the purpose of ending the Second World War before the United States became involved in any official capacity. Following the attack on Pearl Harbor in 1941, funding was diverted from MEG and other top-secret government contracts to be channeled into more mainstream defense projects. All but abandoned, MEG was rediscovered in the wake of the Cuban Missile Crisis. The government considered completing her and programming her to destroy any nuclear weapons in Cuba, but the idea was eventually dismissed. MEG was transfered to a storage facility in the New Mexico desert, where she was forgotten about for many years. In 1993, a Minnesotan couple tasked with raising other government droids as human children discovered her and asked that she be completed and placed in their custody. The government agreed, and MEG was completed in 1994. Since then, she had lived undercover as a human child. She is periodically called into service on top-secret government projects, and is credited, along with her sibling bots, with preventing the Alien Invasion of 2003. Hablo espaņol. |
